Fernando Lopez is a graduate from the Life Sciences Economics and Policy Program from the Technical University of Munich and holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from Towson University. Fernando is co-developer of most of the ideas that take place at ECOFARMS Panama. Mr. Lopez is in charge of logistic planning, public relations and general management of the project. He is a member of the board of directors and will continue to guide the organization towards its goals.
Farmer by soul, Fernando Lopez Alba is one of the founders of ECOFARMS Panama. Mr. Lopez Alba has over 40 years of experience in the field of social security and administrative law, and is one of the main forces to conserve tropical rainforest in the Mamoni River region. He is a member of the board of directors, and co-founder of El Roble Reserve and ECOFARMS Panama.
Teacher, biologist and lawyer by profession, Dalis de Lopez leads ECOFARMS Panama towards it’s goal of conservation. Ms. Lopez has been involved for over 40 years in the field of teaching, mentoring individuals and educating them towards a brighter future. She is a member of the board of directors and co-founder of El Roble Reserve and ECOFARMS Panama.
Dr. Carola Paul has been involved for several years in the study and development of sustainable land use systems that will allow the decrease of deforestation in the tropics. Ms. Paul holds a diploma in the field of forestry and is an expert in the area of agroforestry, tropical restoration and helped develop the idea of ECOFARMS Panama. She is a member of the board of directors and in charge of promotion and volunteer placement in Europe.
Concepcion Arauz knows the Mamoni River valley better than any other visitor. He has been involved with the organization since the beginning, has over 20 years of experience in the Mamoni River valley and is the strength behind most of the projects that take place at ECOFARMS Panama.
Joselin Rodrigues de Freitas is a sociologist graduated from UCV-Venezuela and has more than eight years of experiences in the area of human resource management in Panama. Ms. Rodrigues coordinates community outreach relationships and is in charge of coordinating the relationships with the organization’s stakeholders.
